She successfully completed her training in Medical Microbiology in ‘’P. & A. Kyriakou’’ Children’s Hospital, Athens and she later subspecialized in the modern molecular techniques in Medical Microbiology – Virology in ‘’Kremlin – Bicetre’’ University Hospital, Paris, France and Washington University in St Louis, USA.
